Barras Family Dentistry is truly a family practice. Dr. Brock Barras works with his wife, Dr. Christy Barras, who is also a dentist at the practice. Together they have 5 children: Mazie, Caroline, Julia, Ben, and Paul. When he’s not practicing dentistry, Dr. Barras enjoys exercising, playing with his children, spending time with friends and family, and attending University of Louisiana at Lafayette and Louisiana State University sporting events.
Background and Education
Dr. Barras earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 2001 at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, graduating in 2005.
He is dedicated to self-improvement and advancing his dental knowledge and experience by completing hundreds of continuing education hours every year. He has attained Fellow status with the world-renowned Misch International Implant Institute and completed an 18 month F.A.C.E. Continuum in TMJ and Occlusion in 2017.
